We are looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer interested in helping us disrupt the mobile sports betting space. Ideally, you're a well rounded mobile developer with significant experience in iOS development. You will be the third full-time member of our team, working together with our Lead Back-End Engineer to form the core of our tech team. Together, you will be leading the continued development and future iterations of our platform, and working to build out our technical team to meet the demands of a rapidly scaling business. As an early and integral part of Gamblino, sharing our passion and excitement for what we are building is essential. We have the opportunity to be a leading player in this fast growing market, and are seeking to take advantage of the ongoing push towards the eventual legalization of online sports betting in the US.

iOS Engineer | Responsibilities:

  • Apply industry standard object-oriented programming best practices and design patterns
  • Support and troubleshoot production applications, and perform ongoing maintenance to codebase and associated management tools
  • Understand system performance issues associated with the introduction of new technologies and recommend solutions
  • Analyze, research, evaluate and recommend new procedures and technical solutions to improve the supported systems and to implement agile, efficient and cost effective software applications
  • Building reusable code structure and building blocks and improving the development productivity

iOS Engineer | Requirements:

  • Experience with iOS, Objective C and Cocoa Touch
  • Experience with RestKit
  • 2+ years experience in mobile application development
  • Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Proficiency in Objective C
  • Experience building complex iPhone Apps that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Good team player who is self motivated and well organized
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of sports/sports betting world is preferable but not required
  • Experience in Android development is preferable but not required

Gamblino's signature iPhone app was launched in late 2012, and has since hosted over 200 local and national sports gaming contests.
