We are looking for an Android programmer who can build a relatively simple application.  We’ll provide you with a full specifications document if we decide that you may be a good fit for our needs.  At a very high level the solution will consist of two components, a web site that provides a web service interface to allow for retrieving and updating data and an Android tablet that runs an application that interfaces with the web site using web services.  We’ll be building the web site application and the web services interface internally so we’re just looking for an Android application developer who can handle the Android side.  We primarily create web sites and web applications so you’ll be working with a team that understands the software development process and you’ll be given a full specifications to make your work as easy as possible.

If you are an Android programmer and are interested in working with us then please provide your resume and some examples of your work.  Please also tell us your location, hourly rate and your availability for taking on a small project.

We’re looking for an experienced, professional, and highly motivated iOS Engineer to help build cutting-edge iOS apps for Eventbrite. We’re building the tools that allow event organizers to sell tickets or check in attendees right on their iPhone or iPad, and to allow attendees to check in at events and find out about other interesting events on their phone.

iOS Mobile Engineer | Requirements:

  • Solid experience with Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, and the iPhone/iPad SDK
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience building applications that talk to RESTful web services
  • Database experience using CoreData, Sqlite or equivalent
  • Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
  • Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code
  • Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
  • Attention to quality through unit tests, automation scripts, and code reviews
