Control4 Corporation has an immediate need for an iOS Software Engineer to develop Control4 iOS applications.
iOS Engineer | Responsibilities :
- Develop complex iOS apps using Objective-C and the iOS SDK for various interfaces including iPhones and iPads.
- Work with a highly talented group of engineers to build innovative applications for the iOS platform.
- Write and execute unit tests for written code.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical documentation.
- Leading interaction design throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial explorations through final design deliverables such as use cases, task flows, user interface elements, and prototypes.
- Being accountable for the user interaction model, workflows, information architecture, schematics, and interface guidelines.

iOS Engineer | Required:
- Experience with large mobile applications, TCP-IP socket communication, XML parsing, web services, database storage and retrieval in an iOS environment.
- Strong sense of architecture and layout of large complicated mobile applications into a modular working environment.
- Use of and architecting external libraries for use in multiple projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot and understand prior iOS code or samples from other languages and products to apply into iOS applications.
- Self-starter who can work independently, as well as in teams that span multiple functions and/or departments.
- Ability to understand overall architecture goals for supporting multiple teams and break down the goal into achievable steps.
- Ability to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
iOS Engineer | QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- 1+ year of hands-on iOS development.
- 3+ years development in a complex high-level language.
- At least one published and demonstrable iOS in the iTunes App Store in which you were a main contributor.
- Experience with the Multi-Threading, dynamic layouts, and iOS SDK.
- Experience with UI, MVC design and development.
- Experience using instruments to troubleshoot memory management issues.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and team skills in small agile development groups.
- At least 5 years of experience as a key member of a development team participating in the complete product development life-cycle of successfully launched consumer and business software products.
- Strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills.
ON-RAMPING TASKS & OBJECTIVES (First 30 Days):
- Develop a working knowledge of the Control4 iOS apps, begin development effort for the next generation of apps.
INITIAL CORE OBJECTIVES (Next 90 Days):
- Get the next generation iOS App base functionality developed and into PQA testing.
SEMI-ANNUAL KEY OBJECTIVES (Next 6 Months):
- Release updated iOS Apps with improvements per our ongoing roadmap.
