We are looking for a talented, motivated entry level software developer to work on creating iPhone/iOS applications that interact with tiny robots. The initial project will be to port an Android remote control application to work on iPhones and iPads.

iOS Developer | Responsibilities:

  • Flexible schedule, 15+ hours/week
  • Develop iOS applications to integrate with existing products
  • Work with our rad engineering team

We make robot construction kits. Modular Robotics is a spin-off from Carnegie Mellon University. Android Developer | Skills and Requirements

  • Published App In Market
  • Minimum 1 year Android experience + 3 or more years as a software engineer (preferably Java)
  • Demonstrate competence using the latest framework components eg. fragments, loaders, content providers, etc
  • Demonstrate competence building a non-trivial UI, understands views, layouts, resources, etc
  • Demonstrate competence designing/building for multiple devices, api levels, screen sizes, etc
  • Demonstrate knowledge of application performance issues and how to solve them
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of good engineering practices (design, clean code, tests)
