Job Title: iOS App Developer

Job location: Denver, CO

Employer: edufii

Employment Type: Telecommute Job

Job Description

edufii is ready to rock, roll, and change the world of private sports coaching one relationship at a time.  We already have a core business team in place, a validated product design, and a business model to boot!  What we need is a new team member that is a) excited about building our product/platform up from scratch using some pretty cool technologies and b) is looking to be a core member of a tight knit team in an awesome startup!

We are a startup, and this is a full-time position.  As such, it's more important that we find someone (you?) who can survive on a salary of $60K without benefits and wants to participate in the profitable upside ofowning part of the company.  We may pay you more, or pay you less, but no matter how you slice it, you'll be taking home far more cash than the founders right now :-) .

We are confident that the right person is out there for us.  Perhaps it's you?  Are you a kickass developer who has been looking for an opportunity to have your voice heard at the very early stages in a business?  Do you have the drive and the passion (and the skills) to grab the helm and help code this business into reality?  We hope so, and we look forward to hearing from you!

iOS App Developer | Skills & Requirements

We hire for passion first and relavent skills second, and work experience third.  Don't get us wrong, we are looking for hardcore developers that know their sh*t (you know who you are), but if you haven't used all of the technologies we are using before, that's ok!

iOS App Developer | Required

  • have written at least one feature-complete production-quality native mobile app (ideally iOS).
  • know the ins and outs of objective-C and the pitfalls associated with app development
  • know how to consume a API (json/rest-ish) to keep things in sync with our servers (ie: this will not be a local-to-the-phone-only app).

iOS App Developer | Preferred

  • can clearly articulate additional API calls that the backend guys might need to implement for you.
  • are comfortable building an app that takes advantage of both native components and custom designed interfaces
  • have an reasonable grasp on front-end UX and be excited to try out your own unique interfaces for features when necessary.
  • also had good relevant experience with android

Of course we prefer local candidates, but we are absolutely open for remote-only work provided that you are very reliable and available.  It should be a given that you have excellent english (written and spoken) and communication skills.

About edufii.com

EDUFii, a seed-funded startup, located in Denver, CO and San Luis Obispo, CO is actively seeking additional core team members. We are building a platform with the purpose of accelerating results by optimizing the private coaching experience.
