We are looking for an individual with experience designing and developing native iOS (version 5 or 6) applications for iPhone and iPad devices. Experience with software development for the Android platform is a plus. This position will require the candidate to have experience in mobile software design and development using industry standard programming languages and techniques. Additional responsibilities of this position include participating in or leading design brainstorming sessions, technical design reviews, formal code reviews, bug triage and functional walkthroughs. The candidate must also have experience using web services, XML, REST, AJAX and other integration technologies. The position also offers the potential to lead junior developers.

Mobile Engineer | Responsibilities

  • Hands-on design and development of native applications for the iPhone and iPad platforms.
  • Establish and maintain the software development procedures employed by the team. Experience with scrum and agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Provide leadership to junior developers.
  • Work closely with the QA team to design and write application test plans, test scripts, and use case scenarios.

Mobile Engineer  | Required Skills & Experience

  • Must have iOS (version 5 or 6) application development experience. Experience with Android development is a plus.
  • Must have experience in web and mobile technologies, social networking, collaboration platforms, and/or learning management systems.
  • Highly Proficient in Objective-C, COCOA Framework and operation of Apple's iOS. Experience with C or C++is a plus.
  • Must have strong software design and development experience.
  • Experience developing Client/Server applications. Experience with database technologies is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Web Services and other common mobile technologies.
  • Experience in Object-Oriented design and Systems Architecture.
  • Experience building high performance client applications for desktop of mobile platforms.
  • Experience in testing execution from start to completion, including documentation.
  • Experience in tracking issues and following through to resolution.
  • The ability to interact with software developers, product managers, and business users is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail.

Education/Other Pre-requisites

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience.
