We are seeking an eager individual to join our media team to develop iOS apps in the social, local, music, communication spaces. The ideal candidate needs to possess excellent verbal communication skills, be enthusiastic about our products, and be comfortable in a small, high-paced start-up environment.

iOS Developer | Responsibilities:

  • Working from UI/UX requirements and mockups to build high-perfomance iOS apps.
  • Work on apps concurrently and provide subject matter expertise in areas of user experience and latest updates/trends in iOS apps.
  • Coming up with creative solutions to deal with data synchronization, asynchronous APIs, and leveraging offline device capabilities.
  • Converse with back-end team to create optimum integration solutions
  • Comment code and produce documentation to industry standards

iOS Developer | Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience developing iOS applications; preferably in the social-local space.
  • Consuming RESTful web services, parsing JSON and XML, implementing delegate interfaces, and implementing animations.
  • Experience developing and distributing applications via TestFlight and iTunes app store.

iOS Developer | Preferred:

  • Experience using GPS, camera, voice functionality of iOS SDK.
  • Experience with Core Data
  • Experience with Social SDKS (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
  • Comfortable with Agile/Scrum development style
  • Experience with SVN for version control

Android Developer | Requirements:

We're looking for a skilled Android developer to join our small engineering team. As our first Android developer, you should have significant full-cycle Android development and deployment experience and be able to help build out and train our mobile team as we grow.

You'll work closely with our web and iOS development teams to create a coherent experience across devices. Our current web app is built in Ruby-on-Rails, backed by PostgreSQL, with a thick Coffeescript/Backbone.js layer on the front end; some experience with these technologies is preferred but not necessary. We value test-driven development and constant collaboration — our team practices pair programming full time, so you'll have the opportunity to learn new techniques and technologies from everyone as well as sharing your skills.
