iOS Engineer | Responsibilities:

  • Solid understanding of the existing codebase and client server architecture
  • Performs in-house development of capital improvements to the iPad applications

  • Performs rigorous unit and regression tests following code changes
  • Develops proof of concepts utilizing iOS frameworks
  • Configures software implementations with customized criteria tailored for OTG's specific environment and customer needs.

iOS Engineer | Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in software development, with at least two years of combined application development for iOS platforms
  • Full software development lifecycle experience required
  • Expert level knowledge of application development for iOS software platforms
  • Experience coding mobile-friendly applications required
  • Experience "writing for the cloud" a strong plus
  • Applied knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, RUP, etc.)
  • Extensive experience working within an SVN revision control environment, including heavy experience with tagging, branching, merging and version reconciliation, as well as patch management
  • Prior experience with testing and debugging tools (leaks, instruments)
  • Strong objective-c design pattern and object oriented design experience
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and communications skills (knowledge of technical writing)
  • Extensive experience working with iOS frameworks (Webkit, UIKit) required
