  • Laughing at various jokes while producing efficient, well-documented code.

  • Have demonstrable knowledge of the iOS SDK, with apps you’ve created ready to demo. Specifically, these skills are muy importanté:
  • An understanding of the data persistence frameworks available for iOS (SQlite, Core Data, etc.): how they work, how to use them efficiently and reliably, and when they are needed
  • iPhone/iPad layouts, when to use Interface Builder for building the User Interface and when to use code, being well-versed in auto-layouts and using the latest features in the SDK (such as ARC) to write less code
  • Familiarity with the various animation techniques available for iOS and the ability to take designed wireframes, sprinkle some animation dust, and produce fluid screen transitions
  • Localization and internationalization of apps
